Family Music & Story Time at Goudy Park in the Gold Coast

Tuesdays, June 9, July 14, & August 11 • 5:00 pm – 6:00 pm • Goudy Park, 1249 N. Astor

Bring your family, meet new friends, and join GCNA for an hour filled with music, stories, and community connection. This free community event is open to parents, children, grandparents, and neighbors. Feel free to bring a picnic and a blanket to relax and enjoy the hour together.

No cost or registration. If it rains, join us on the following Thursday.

Make Music Chicago at Goudy Park brings together Gold Coast neighbors to celebrate their ability to make music, regardless of age, ability or preferred musical style. Whether you are joining with your children or simply young at heart and ready to sing along, we welcome you to share in the joy of making music.

Summer Sip & Social at the Shore Club

Monday, June 29 • 5:30 pm – 7:30 pm • Shore Club Chicago

Escape the routine and recharge your week with an evening of elevated cuisine, waterfront views, and great conversation with your Gold Coast neighbors. Come connect with the community and learn more about the Gold Coast Neighbors Association (GCNA) in a relaxed lakefront setting. Register in advance to secure your spot for this $20 event, although walk-ins are welcome as long as there is space!

18th District CAPS Beat Meeting

July 16, 2026 • 6:00 pm

CAPS is an innovative partnership that unites police, community members, and City agencies to proactively identify and solve neighborhood crime problems through collaboration, neighborhood-level problem solving, and shared responsibility for safer communities. CAPS Beat Meetings for our beat, beat 1824, are held at First St. Paul’s Church, 1301 N LaSalle Dr.
